The Leadership Source Series

The Leadership Source Series is a set of eight practical leadership workshops open to all City of Garland employees. Each session is grounded in the idea that leadership has a source, and that source shows up in how you speak, listen, act, and respond when things get difficult. This isn’t leadership theory. It’s about how you show up and interact with your team, your work, and serve the people of Garland based on your commitment.

How it Works:

  • There are eight workshops, and they repeat every four months so you have multiple chances each year to join in, learn, and practice.

  • Four workshops are held in person at the Central Library, and four are online using Microsoft Teams

  • There's also a monthly leadership lab where you can bring real leadership challenges, get one-on-one or group coaching, and support others. It’s a space to think out loud, get unstuck, and grow alongside other leaders across the City of Garland.
